ABC Drops Trailer for Season 2 of ‘Will Trent’

ABC recently released an electrifying trailer for the highly anticipated second season of “Will Trent,” the gripping crime series based on Karin Slaughter’s renowned novels. Slaughter’s compelling narrative centers around Will Trent, a special agent for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, along with his partner Faith Mitchell and best friend Angie Polaski. Introduced in Slaughter’s 2006 novel “Triptych,” Trent has since captivated readers through 10 more books, with the latest installment, “After That Night,” hitting shelves just last August.

In the series, Ramón Rodríguez impeccably portrays the complex character of Trent, supported by Iantha Richardson as Mitchell and Erika Christensen as Polaski. The ensemble cast also includes Sonja Sohn, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, LisaGay Hamilton, Cora Lu Tan, and Susan Kelechi Watson, promising an unforgettable viewing experience.

Set against the pulsating beats of Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue’s “Whatta Man,” the trailer plunges viewers into the heart-pounding world of “Will Trent.” It opens with Trent offering reassurance to a distraught woman, embodying the unwavering determination of his character. Meanwhile, another agent skillfully defuses a bomb, setting the stage for the high-stakes investigations that lie ahead.

As the tension mounts, Trent’s relentless pursuit of justice is showcased in riveting scenes, including a confrontation at a crime scene where he confronts an indifferent officer with his trademark wit. The trailer teases a season filled with twists, turns, and gripping drama, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.

Mark your calendars for February 20th as the second season of “Will Trent” makes its highly anticipated debut on ABC. With Michael Schaub contributing to the excitement, this promises to be an unforgettable journey into the heart of crime and intrigue
